Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed-martial artist. She was born on August 18 in 1986. She currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and was a previous UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Tate formerly competed for Strikeforce and was a past Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was vice-president of ONE Championship. She currently ranks 10 in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings as at October 3, 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was born in the Seattle suburb Tacoma, Washington, to Michelle Tate, and was raised by Michelle and husband Robert Schmidt. Tate was a boy in her early years and often was on the playground with the other boys.
